National Award 2014!
Esteve Molero recieves, unanimously from the jury, the National Agustí Borgunyó Award 2014, of the organization Sabadell més música.
In past editions the award was for the musicians Manuel Oltra, Salvador Brotons, Jordi León, Joan Lluís Moraleda and Jordi Molina; the organizations Fundació Orfeó Català – Palau de la Música Catalana and Foment de la Sardana de Banyoles; the ensembles cobla La Principal d’Amsterdam and cobla Sant Jordi, and for the journalist Jordi Saura, all of them commited to develop the symphonic and the new ways for the catalan ensemble,” cobla”.
The National Agustí Borgunyó Award 2014 for Esteve Molero emphasizes his work “creating new projects, reinterpretating the classics and contributing with a new view about the cobla ensemble”
Molero already won the Medal of Musical Merit 2011 of Federació Sardanista de Catalunya for “his contribution in the cobla music actualization”.
