Ciutat de Girona
Since 2023 I am Principal Conductor of cobla Ciutat de Girona.
Previously, I already worked with them replacing Jesús Ventura.
Our first project was Mariona, la musa the Toldrà.
The Ciutat de Girona cobla was born in 1975 from the initiative of several former members of the best cobla-orchestras of the moment, such as the Principal de la Bisbal and the Montgrins, led by Lluís Buscarons.
He participates in numerous performances throughout Catalonia and France in important international festivals such as Peralada, Portaferrada, Marseille, Llívia, etc. He has performed numerous concerts of music for cobla in various cycles and programs throughout the Catalan territory, such as the series of afternoon concerts at the Palau de la Música Catalana, the series of concerts for cobla at the Auditori de Girona as well as also at the Barcelona Auditorium. It is also present in gatherings and dances everywhere. The cobla has invited renowned artists such as the pianist and composer Albert Guinovart, the virtuoso trumpet soloist Rubén Simeó, the versatile singer Nina, the soprano Maite Mer, etc. He has collaborated with various formations such as the Puig-Reig Polyphonic Choir and the Academic Orchestra of the Liceu.
